Veniamin Kondratyev: 500+ major investment projects are being implemented in the Krasnodar Territory for a total amount of 2.8 trillion rubles

This will create 93 thousand jobs. The governor told reporters about the record values.

«The growth rate of investments in the economy of the Krasnodar Territory was over 117 percent compared to the first half of last year. This is the first time we have seen such an increase. The figure is higher than the Russian average of 107 percent. Investors poured about 310 billion rubles in the projects. In terms of total volume, our Territory is among the leaders in the country. Every year, we increase support measures. A new mechanism – interest rate subsidies — is working successfully. In fact, the region reimburses up to 70 percent of the expenses incurred in the first three years from the loan. We are the only ones in Russia who provide investors with such a measure of support,» said Veniamin Kondratyev.

In order to receive the benefit, a loan agreement must be signed for investment purposes in any sphere, except housing construction.

The amount of the agreement varies from 30 million to 1 billion rubles.

The Krasnodar Territory has the largest investment activity in transportation and storage, manufacturing, electricity, agriculture, and hotel services. More than 68% of funds have been invested in these areas. Positive dynamics is observed in almost all types of economic activity.

The Governor noted that since the beginning of 2023, 60 large investment projects worth about 118 billion rubles have been implemented in the region, and 2.4 thousand new jobs have been created. Now, more than 500 projects worth 2.8 trillion rubles with the creation of 93 thousand new jobs are in the pipeline.

To support business in the Krasnodar Territory, an End-to-End Investment Flow lean project has been launched and a Regional Investment Standard was introduced. In 2023, the Investment Promotion Agency began its work. They develop infrastructure for investors, such as industrial parks, tech parks, and clusters.

The Krasnodar Territory now is among the top 5 Russian regions in the 2023 Russian National rating of the state of the investment climate of the Russian Federation. This year is recognized as the best and most profitable for the region in the history of the rating since 2014.
